Aftercare Instructions
Aftercare is an important part of protecting your service, your results, and the health of your hair, skin, or nails once you leave the salon. We will always use our professional knowledge, quality products, and best judgment during your appointment, but results can be affected by many things outside the salon, including at-home care, product use, hair history, lifestyle, water quality, and how well aftercare instructions are followed. Because of these factors, exact results, longevity, or wear cannot be guaranteed, but proper aftercare gives you the best chance of maintaining your service beautifully.
Color Care
We know you love your color and we do, too! Let's keep it shiny and pretty until you return for a refresh.
Wait 48 hours before shampooing at home the first time. We recommend shampooing every other day to once week. I know it may sound gross but your hair will love you for it!
Use lukewarm for your shampoo and cool for your conditioner. Remember to shampoo the roots and condition the mids and ends. Don't forget the heat protecant! Don't forget the hair oil to bring out the gorgeous shine!
We recommend the Color Lover line from Framesi which is sold in house.
Vivid Colors
Hey there! That's some awesome hair!
Make sure you're shampooing only once a week with cold water and color safe shampoo and conditioner. Use a heat protectant for blow drying and another layer for tool styling. Don't forget the hair oil! Dry shampoo is your friend. Spray it through your clean, dry scalp and hair so it can absorb oils as they are made and refresh as needed.
Perms and Curls
Oh! Those curls are GORG!
Make sure to not shampoo or drench your curls for 72 hours after a perm. We don't want them to fall.
Using cool water and a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner (we have a couple options in salon) will help keep all curls (permed or not) soft and healthy.
Using products such as a curl cream, gel and oil is great for holding patterns and locking in moisture.
Skin and beauty
Your skin is GLOWING!!
Make sure to follow a good regimen with a cleanser, toner, moisturizer and sunscreen to keep it glowing!
Those lashes are to die for!
Make sure to gently clean and brush your extensions daily. Don't cleanse your lashes and brows for 48 hours after a lift or lamination.
Nails
Your hands and feet are so pretty!
It must be the fresh polish and well groomed nails! Help keep them looking and feeling great with cuticle oil and lotion every day between appointments.
